Join SQLSaturday Oslo!
We hope you had a fantastic summer and that you will join us for SQLSaturday Oslo 2016 on September 3rd! You can register here if you haven’t done so already.

Schedule
This year we have 25 sessions across 5 parallel tracks, covering topics like Database Administration, Database Development, Azure and Cloud Services, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics and Professional Development. We’ve done our best to provide a good mix of topics and skill levels and we hope you will find something of interest throughout the day. Take a look at the schedule, and register today 🙂

Pre-conference workshops
If a day of free training isn’t enough for you, we also offer four great pre-conference workshops this year. For as little as 1600 NOK (that’s less than a third of what you would usually pay for high-quality training like this) you can spend a full day learning from these international experts and MVPs! Click on the links to read all about the workshops.

Grant Fritchey presents Query Tuning with Execution Plans (intermediate, full day)
Dejan Sarka presents Data Mining Algorithms in SSAS, Excel, R and Azure ML (expert, full day)
Andre Kamman presents PowerShell for DBAs (advanced, half day)
Mladen Prajdic presents Security Best Practices for SQL Server and Application Developers (advanced, half day)

Volunteering
We want your help! Don’t worry, the SQLSaturday team will be doing all the heavy lifting, but we’re looking for room monitors for all our sessions. Room monitors show up 5-10 minutes before the sessions start to make sure the room is tidy, hand out evaluation forms, help the speakers keep track of how much time is left, and collect evaluation forms after the session. It’s also a great opportunity to get to know the speakers better if you have any questions for them! If you want to volunteer, go to our Volunteer portal, log in, and click Apply for the session you want to monitor. If you’re really awesome, maybe you even want to help us with registration or lunch? We promise eternal honor and glory 😉

Spread the word
Finally, we hope that you can help us spread the word about this great day of free training. Forward this e-mail to your friends and coworkers, print the schedule and stick it to the coffee machine in your office, tweet, post on LinkedIn or Facebook – or just make one of those old-fashioned phone calls 🙂

Thank you for helping us make this a great event, see you soon!
